How to use
Load an image and a selection box appears over it. Drag the box to move it, or drag one of the eight handles to resize it. The X, Y, width and height fields below the picture show the exact pixel values of the selection in the original image, and you can type into them for precise cuts. The values stay in sync with the box in both directions.
Choose an aspect ratio when the result has to fit a slot: 1:1 for profile pictures and product thumbnails, 16:9 for video covers and presentation slides, 9:16 for stories and vertical video, 4:3 and 3:2 for classic photo prints. For anything else, pick Custom and type a ratio such as 1.91:1 for link previews. With a ratio locked, the handles keep the shape while you drag.
The crop is taken from the original pixels, not the scaled preview, so a 4000-pixel photo keeps its full resolution inside the selected area. The output format defaults to the same as the input; switch to PNG if you need lossless output or transparency, or to WebP for the smallest file. JPEG and WebP are saved at quality 92. Photos with rotation stored in EXIF are shown upright and cropped as you see them.
The file is never uploaded. Everything, including the final encode, happens inside your browser, and images up to 50 MB are accepted.
